  1. Our client is a leading industrial manufacturer currently seeking a ‘hands-on’ Mechanical Engineer with Quality background and a solid understanding of ISO9001/2008 standards.

    This individual will:
    *Work with Product Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering functions to ensure continual improvement in a lean environment in process and product design
    *Provide support for operations such as welding, brazing, CNC’s and other metal cutting, forming and finishing operations.
    * Facilitate continuous improvement activities to reduce the potential for defects
    * Lead problem identification, containment, action planning and execution activities
    * Assist in coordination of Corrective Action Requests (CAR/SCAR) and Non-Conforming Material Reports
    * Conduct audits/assessments of processes and quality systems (ISO, internal audit, etc)

    Technical degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or related Industrial is required, with 2+ years of related experience in a manufacturing environment, along with knowledge of quality concepts and customer quality tools. Candidate must be flexible team player, with strong verbal and written communication skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
